Translator Training
Interpreters and translators are asked to keep their training and resume files current annually. There is an annual training and "brush up" workshop for VLS subcontractors, normally held in October.
VLS also conducts a Translator Training Workshop at Columbus Technical College that enables strong bilingual speakers to train their skills in a professional setting. Any local citizen who is bilingual is eligible for this training course. This may lead to directly to employment or referral for additional training before employment.
