What are field translators?  VLS provides interpreters/translators to accompany business executives on international business trips to facilitate meetings, conferences, trade shows, and negotiations. The VLS field interpreters are experienced translators and all have security training, and very experienced in their respective languages and world areas.

    For example, the VLS Russian field translator is the past assistant director of CNN’s Moscow Desk.  Many of the interpreters are ex military and are expert in security issues. VLS field translators have strong support networks in the countries where they work.
