French language course and marine biology study at the famed Cousteau Centre in Guadeloupe on the island of Basse Terre. Immersion in French language in the mornings and immersion on the coral reef each afternoon. Students will visit rain forests, volcanoes, and geothermal baths in addition to visits to a caocao (chocolate) plantation and whale watching. Shopping in the colorful spice and produce markets are a daily necessity as students learn to buy, barter, and cook local foods...all in French!

Students are supervised at all times by experienced personnel. Certified teachers or group leaders and experienced eco-guides will accompany students at all times.
