Divisions of Training
Unlike other companies and practices that utilize a training program focused on specific levels of language, VLS recognizes that different clients require different approaches to language acquisition. For this reason, we fufill the specific needs for certain situations for all individuals through culture-specific, targeted training.
• Management-level training is taught with a six-week intensive beginner course and a two week in-country immersion. This guarantees functionality with a high degree of competence in the language chosen.
• VLS is also offers training for bilingual employees across a broad spectrum of languages.
• Foreign executives and military officers receive training for English as a second language (ESL) through a two-month, one-on-one, foreign immersion program.
• Individual training is readily available through culture-specific, targeted training sessions designed to provide for a myriad of needs.

Tradulinguas Training
Organized by Tradulinguas and other legal translation professionals, this conference will feature two full days of practical learning sessions -- translation and terminology workshops (in Portuguese, English, Spanish, more languages if possible) -- for the professional translator and interpreter of legal materials.

UGA Spanish/English Legal Interpreter Certificate Program
The University of Georgia Center of Continuing Education is offering a Spanish/English legal interpreter program at the UGA Gwinnett Campus in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The program is designed for individuals who want to take the State Court Interpreter Certification test and to be eligible to assist Spanish-speaking persons.
